Suicide Squad Comic Con Trailer

We had a new Batman v Superman trailer, so it is no suprise that DC now also realsed the new trailer for Suicide Squad. It was shown at Comic Con and got leaked instanly, but in very bad quality. So it’s great to get it officially and in good quality to enjoy every second of it.

And it’s dark and creepy and crazy. But in a very good way!

Jared Leto’s Joker looks freakin’ awesome (at least the few seconds of him are excatly what I was hoping for!) – isn’t it fun how everyone is always instantly complaining when someone new gets cast into a well-known role, but in the end, they love it? He’s not Heath Ledger, but his Joker still looks pretty cool and crazy in this trailer.

The music is just perfect for this kind of trailer – creepy and haunting and badass. Harley Quinn has some great lines in these few minutes. And is that Batman on top of the Joker’s car?! There’s so much going on in this trailer, and yet it leaves me a little confused. Of course I know what the movie is about – after all, it’s called Suicide Squad, and I know a little something about the Suicide Squad – but there’s not much information past that. We don’t really know who the Suicide Squad is being sent after, or why Amanda Waller is scared enough to let these criminals and nutjobs go in the first place to use as weapons. They’re talking about saving the world, after all – talk about high stakes. We’re not quite sure who the bad guys and who the good guys are, because they’re criminals, so the lines are a bit blurred, I guess. Although that usually makes for a good premise.

All in all, it’s a cool trailer for what looks to be an awesome movie. I have faith in Jared Leto’s Joker, and I’m really looking forward to see this movie.
