  • Spread the happiness and tag up to ten other bloggers!

We haven’t yet decided whether it’s going to be difficult to find an entire 8 photos of happiness that we agree on, or difficult to choose from all the photos out there… We’ll see, I guess.

Shall we?

Even though this is a photo that I took of the original photo because I haven’t gotten around to scanning it yet, it’s still our favorite picture (despite the weird looks on our faces – Frodo looks a bit frightened, but that’s just because she had a hair stuck to her face and couldn’t remove it before the photo was taken). There’s a lot of Jared Padalecki on this single picture, but there’s no such thing as “too much Jared Padalecki”. And since he is actually on there with us, nothing else really matters all that much. Definitely our favorite picture (yet?). Still makes us very happy to look at it, and it’s the screensaver on both our phones. It was taken at Asylum 14.

Frodo/Gimli & Sam/Legolas

Not only was this taken in the most beautiful country on this green Earth, but there’s also so much Lord of the Rings in this picture that it might be too much for the Muggles. There’s the weapons, of course – and dear God were that axe and the helmet heavy -, and there’s Frodo and Sam. But there’s also, and you can’t see it on this picture, the One Ring around Frodo’s neck, and Tauriel’s necklace around mine, as well as Aragorn’s ring on one of our hands. So much fandom! This is one of our favorite pictures taken in Middle-Earth (Queenstown, in this case), and boy, were we gigglish and happy on that day.

It’s Hobbiton. It’s us in Hobbiton. So yeah, definitely makes us happy. It’s also the first picture of us together.

There is a lot of fandom photos on this list… Awesome! This particular one makes us very happy, as we had just met (almost) the entire cast of the Hobbit. For about a second each. But still! We got an autograph from Sir Ian McKellen, and if that’s not awesome, I don’t know what is. It’s also a picture of the adventure of flying to London for just a few days for a Premiere, sleeping outside and on the ice cold floor in the winter (although sleeping is a bit of an overstatement; there was not much sleeping. It was way too cold), and doing what we thought we’d never do: scream and cheer at the stars of a movie. Craziest thing we’ve ever done (which is saying something), and, naturally, one of the best things we’ve ever done.

This photo makes us happy because 1), it’s a cool photo, 2) it’s Sam, Charlie and Dean in super cute, and 3) it’s in Vienna. And who doesn’t love taking funny or pretty pictures when travelling?

This one we took in Barcelona, out of the open door of a church. And we think it’s a pretty cool picture, taken on one of our trips. Our trips always make us happy.

Yet another not-so-special picture, but it still makes us happy, because it’s Dean & Sam, and a rather symmetrical photo. We took this one in the Monestir de Santa Maria de Poblet in Spain, where we took a few other pretty pictures, but none with Dean & Sam. Which is why we picked this one. Naturally.

This picture we took in Kaikoura, New Zealand, and we swear, there’s no filter, and no Photoshop involved! We don’t even have the skills for Photoshop. We don’t even have Photoshop. Anyway, we love this picture – one of the most beautiful we took in New Zealand. It just looks so surreal, and ghosty, and we love that.
