This 5 Fandom Friday‘s topic was orginally about our “Favorite Seasonal Food”. But we couldn’t find 5 of those, so we – again – decided to have another topic: 5 Female Characters We (Love To) Hate, because we talked about it on our way to RingCon and thought it would be fun.

1. Umbridge
This shouldn’t be a suprise at all! I mean, come on, who doesn’t hate Umbridge?! Voldemort or Bellatrix are nothing compared to her. The Devil Doesn’t Wear Prada – she wears pink.

2. Cersei Lannister
There are a lot of very hateable characters on Game of Thrones. And Cersei is way up there on that list. Lena Headey is doing an incredible job at portraying her as one of the (putting it as nicely as possible) least likeable characters ever.

3. Imogen Herondale
Her character made me want to throw my City of Ashes book against the wall. Yeah, sure, in the end she came to her senses, but that was too little too late; the way she treated Jace was just horrible.

4. Naomi
Dean said it best: “Angels are dicks”. And Naomi… Just wow. I mean, there’s a lot of characters to hate on Supernatural – Ruby, for instance – but Naomi just tops them all. Ruby’s betrayal made everyone hate her; but she was a demon, so seriously, what was everyone expecting (looking at you, Sam Winchester)? But Naomi is an angel, and even though there’s only very few exceptions to the dick-rule, she’s the one we hate most because of what she did to the other angels. Most notably, of course, Castiel.

5. Rita Skeeter
Another female character from the Harry Potter universe made it on this list. Before Umbridge, she was the character we hated most in these books. And re-reading Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows made us remember why. By Merlin’s beard, she’s just horrible.

Fangirls on the Road 
I love this! We are always pointing out the female characters we love, but there’s two sides to the character coin. Villains need a shout out too. My vote would have been for Regina from OUAT. She tries very hard to live a life for herself, but she can’t help get her evil all over everything.

Definitely, I agree with you on all of these. Rita is horrible but Umbridge definitely beats her in terms of horribleness=P And Imogen Herondale! I almost forgot about her, but she was the worst!

Totally Agree with Naomi! I recently got into Supernatural and have been binge watching ever since. I just started this season, I was happy to see Amanda Tapping was in it from another one of my Fav Fandoms and slowly see how her character is here. and as you said Dean was right. 🙂
