There’s No Place Like Home

6 months ago, we promised you a post for our 2-year-anniversary. Now, the day has come to fulfill that promise.

Because, my friends, it was on this day 2 years ago was the day this freak show started. And it has been nothing but fun and good memories – some of which we have told you about, some of which we will tell you about now.

We ended our last anniversary post with Purgatory Con. After that, we saw each other in July, when we did our awesome photo shoot:

The next thing we did together was go to Spain, so we’re going to start this post with that. Granted, there’s not much to tell that we haven’t posted yet, because we did a post about our trip to Spain. So here’s just a bunch of ugly pictures (we’re keeping the ugly picture thing we did last time. Let’s turn that into an ugly tradition).

This one’s not that uglzy, though. But the next ones are.

I have no idea what we were doing. But someone took pictures.

After that, we didn’t see each other for quite some time. The next thing we did together was go to the World Premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 in Berlin. That was in November. How did we even survive all those months?

IMG_9301We didn’t take any pictures of ourselves that day, mostly because we were both sick. And got shat on by birds all day. But that’s another story.

In the same week, we went to RingCon.

Not exactly ugly pictures, but the quality is bad (sorry).

After that, we didn’t see each other until New Year’s Eve. Way too long a time. Here, enjoy some really, really ugly pictures of that night:

And that’s it… Oh man, did we really only see each other 4 times in the last 6 months? We have to change that next year. If only to make for a longer 3-year-anniversary-post.

Two years may not sound like all that much time, and it’s not really. Come to think of it, it’s amazing that it’s only been two years. It feels like we’ve known each other a life time. Here’s to another few lifetimes of amazing memories, good fun, and awesome nerdy stuff!
