5 Books With Great Covers

We talked about books in the last 5 Fandom Friday we did, so this post is continuing the trend. Since we talked about books we disliked for one reason or another, we thought we’d go the other way and name 5 Books With Great Covers. Now, these 5 aren’t necessarily our favorites, but they’re definitely up there.

1. Lady Midnight, Cassandra Clare

It’s just really cool. Cassandra Clare’s books usually have awesome covers, but this one is our favorite yet. It’s eerily beautiful, sad but epic, and just really pretty. There’s this promo video for the book that plays with the cover, and it’s amazing. Go check it out!

2. Throne of Glass, Sarah J. Maas

A badass looking woman with weapon walking out of what looks like blue fire? Yes, please! What more could you want? It’s fitting, too. Celeana might be a handful from time to time, but she’s definitely a badass when it comes down to it. The cover definitely shows the right side of that.

3. Silber, Kerstin Gier

It’s so full of little details! It kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, to be honest, but I’m pretty sure that’s done on purpose. And even though you may not know what the book is about, it does look like something about dream world, doesn’t it?

4. Cress, Marissa Meyer

All of the books in The Lunar Chronicles have very pretty covers, but Cress is our favorite (closely followed by Winter). The only reason we picked Cress over Winter is because Winter is done in a simpler way. The cover for Cress is, of course, an allusion to Rapunzel, and we just love the way they did that.

5. Spiel mit dem Feuer, Tanz auf dem Eis, Hannah von der Mark

As far as covers go, this one’s not half-bad. It may not have all that much to do with the title, but it’s still pretty cool. I like that we only see half of her face, and that piercing green of her eye is awesome. Plus, she looks badass, and that’s never a bad thing.
